Sterling forest green eyes watched silently, hidden in the shadows created by a thick canopy. They followed the movements of the Mystics coming through the portal with surprised eyes, and studied the creatures with caution.
“Who are they, Radek?” the deep voice of his companion whispered beside him. Radek glanced at the shire sized midnight blue unicorn and shook his head, carefully so his pearl horn wouldn’t upset the leaves.
“I’m not sure. I haven’t seen this many Mystics in…They must be from one of the Havens.”
“I thought they died out.”
“So did I."

Omg you guys are lucky people. You get a glimpse at a new character, Radek a scout unicorn, and a peek at part of CHAPTER SEVENTEEN! OMG! so hurray for you people. Radek has one of my favorite colorations. I loosely based it off a character named Vallon I had. His coat is more of a reddish brown with various green markings, and his rust colored mane and tail are tipped in green as well. Oh and the flowers are cherry blossoms, because besides roses, they are my favorite flowers.

Also I made this as an entry for the contest. took me a bit to figure out what i wanted to do. I am happy with my results.
